Lu2011/06/11-12要在美國拉斯維加辦「活動」，詳情還未公佈，不過本報特派員阿姐已經殺過去採訪，有新消息隨時更新中。

Actress and large format abstract painter Laurel Holloman will be signing her work poolside at Club Skirts The Dinah 2011. Well, she might not actually be signing poolside -- that runs the risk of getting an errant splash of beer on her work -- but Dinah attendees will be able to view wome of her thoughtful pieces and meet with The L Word star, who'll be on hand to sign posters of her work.

Laurel last attendended The Dinah in 2006 as part of the cast of the juggernaut show The L Word, but this time she'll be there with another facet of her talent on display.

Club Skirts the Dinah 2011 marks the first time Laurel has signed her work exclusively at the event, something she is happy to do to give back to her lesbian fans, who've been ardent supporters of all of her endeavors, according to a press release from The Dinah.

Costar of the new show Gigantic, about Hollywood kids, Laurel has also been juggling her time being a mom and painting ardently. She has exhibited nationally and has donated some of her work for auction to charities including Bark, The Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust and Sewing Hope.

不確定的消息，據拍美人魚攝影書的攝影師Mark Anderson說：I'm shooting a segment for ET on the 10th Dec, Jennifer may be in it, don't know for sure yet. 2010/12/10(星期五)在美國ET娛樂台也許會放女王拍照過程的Video?

BTW，據JBC的消息，有女王的美人魚攝影書的發售日期又改了：Jennifer Beals photographed on Mark Anderson's Mermaids App and coffee table book "M", "A hardcover 16x20 book $85, in bookstores from Oct 2011.".(女王美照精裝版2011年十月發售。)iTunes版(iPad/iPhone)兩週內會發售，美金0.99。

HOLIDAY HAPPENING: Jen­nifer Beals said she "jumped at the chance" to star in the Hallmark Channel film "The Night Before the Night Before Christmas," since the actress' most recent roles “had really been a whole slew of really dark things. Being offered this Christmas movie was just the ticket!"

The actress has been back in her hometown for much of the year taping episodes of the upcoming Fox police drama "The Chicago Code" and is grand marshal of today's McDonald's Thanksgiving Parade on State Street. She admits, "Christmas was not such a big thing for our family — we were more into Thanksgiving. … I got wise to the big Santa lie pretty young, but I have to admit, after watching R.D. Reid [who plays Mr. Claus in the Hallmark film], I again have become a believer — there really is a Santa Claus!"

• One of Beals' favorite parts of making the movie was the fact "we worked with real reindeer. I never knew they had this velvet stuff on their antlers. … But they are very skittish, nervous animals. On some days those reindeer were the biggest divas on the set!"

• "The Night Before the Night Before Christmas," in regular rotation on the Hallmark Channel, next airs at 7 p.m. Friday.
